Ford Cobra MyCarstreet Gary Woodroffe
These Ford Cobras were taken in Jack Roush’s private collection or in one of the Sarasota, Fl auto show’s in the 2008 time frame. The Jack Roush collection was taken while in the Michigan Roush Facility. It is a real trip for this motorhead to be able to walk through their shop and see Cobras with their engines on stands, Roush Mustangs to see the upgrades to these badboys the boys at Roush do to their engines, suspensions and graphics. The Roush collection is only open to the public a few times per year so this was a rare treat.
Even this caliber of show in Sarasota is rare as well, last one this author heard about was in the 2008 time frame, not well publicized.
The Roush machines are something to hear. They typically have a 427 that runs like a scalded Rabbit. The technical details are beyond this article but if the reader ever is to visit Livonia, Mi, it’s a trip worth seeing.. at least in summer.
Politically incorrect statement: I would have given my right arm to have my son there to tour these classics; they are a masterpiece of engineering; however, mommie dearest will have no part in him doing any father / son activity like that or even basic communication with his dad. This is the type of thing a father and son can never make up. Mommie dearest – you need counseling; get ready for the white throne too. I have only three words for you to think about before the great white throne: hell is hot. See http://www.Whydadsmatter.com for parental alienation details.
